The purpose of this project was to learn different book binding techniques and layouts by designing a book of my choice. Living in a tiny, rural Canterbury town, I chose to use this as the setting and inspiration for a nostalgic look at the past. Using my own photographs, with sourced Victorian wallpaper backgrounds, laying out the page designs was fun and it grew fast. This was one of my favourite projects and learning to bind a book successfully was a real challenge.
